Detective Vive Z, this Dominator Z x Numero Uno son who now jumps at 1.50 m level, is a standout in the showjumping ring. Not only because of his impressive jumps - he jumps with a lot of scope and excellent technique - but also because of his conformation, which makes him a real eye-catcher. In addition, he is eager on the jump and cooperates fantastically.
Detective Vive Z is a feast for the eyes. At the KWPN stallion selection, he was one of the most outstanding showjumpers and combines his talent with an excellent pedigree. Detective Vive Z was already jumping at 1.45m level as a 7-year-old. In 2024, he competed in the final of the 7-year-old horses at the World Breeding Championships in Lanaken.
In the pedigree of the well conformed and genetically interesting Detective Vive Z (out of Zinfandel stb-ext prest by Numero Uno), Dominator Z is combined with a proven foundation dam, Zinfandel. This mare already produced several international show jumpers. Daughter Isis Vive (by Contendro I) scored 83 points in the EPTM test and currently jumps at 1.45 m level. As a daughter of the well-known Nimmerdor mare Herarda, Zinfandel is, among other things, a full sister to the Grand Prix show jumper Willemijn and half-sister to Michael (by Zeus).
On the sire's side we see the unsurpassed Dominator Z (by Diamant de Semilly x Cassini I). Dominator Z already jumped an impressive record at the age of nine under Christian Ahlmann. He won his first international Grand Prix, came 2nd in the 5* Grand Prix of Paris and was very successful in the Madrid World Cup. This black pearl from Zangersheide also scored victories in, among others, the 5* 1.60 m GCT of Stockholm and Hamburg and the 5* 1.60 m Grand Prix of Doha.
Dominator Z also lives up to his name as a sire. Besides an impressive number of approved stallions by various studbooks, his eldest offspring are extremely talented. His eldest son D'Aganix is now jumping at 1.60 m level. In addition, Dominator Z already produced two world champions and a vice-world champion at the World Championships for Young Showjumping Horses in Lanaken.
However, Detective Vive Z's talent does not only come from the sire's side. On the dam's side, we see the mare Zinfandel, a daughter of Numero Uno. This preferent prestatie mare is, among others, the full sister of the 1.60 m horse Willemijn and the half-sister of the two 1.55 m horses Michael and Uruguay H.L.
Besides Detective Vive Z, Zinfandel gave two 1.50m, three 1.45m and two 1.40m horses. With many more young horses coming out of this fantastic mare, her influence in the sport is expected to continue to grow.
Via the famous Nimmerdor mare Herarda, who herself was active at 1.35 m level, we come to the legendary thoroughbred mare Viola (Lucy Boy xx). She produced, among others, the approved stallion Jacomar, who jumped at 1.60 m level under Marc Houtzager, and the 1.50 m horse Ping Pong. An exceptional dam line that has produced international sport horses for generations, with a strong focus on attitude and toughness. It is therefore no surprise that Detective Vive Z is an above-average jumper.
Under his regular rider Liesje Vrolijk, he reached the final of the World Championships in Lanaken as a seven-year-old, having previously won the Youngster Final in Oliva. He also competed for the Dutch team at the European Young Riders Championships in Riesenbeck in 2025. With his proven bloodlines, his scope and his fantastic attitude, Detective Vive Z is not only a talent in the sport, but also a promising asset for breeding.
