Stud fee

- For foreign breeders, the following applies: sperm order one day in advance with submission of complete breeder and mare data and payment in advance via credit card, bank transfer or Ideal.

- After the first insemination, you will receive an invoice for the fixed part of the stud fee. In case of gestation after 8 weeks, you will receive an invoice for the remaining stud fee and other transport costs. In the unlikely event that your mare does not become pregnant, the declaration of pregnancy must be made by your veterinarian (ivt) before 1 October 2020 and be present at Dekstation V-team Stallions. After that, we are obliged to charge the full stud fee.

- Different gust rates apply per stallion.

- Complaints about invoices please within 14 days of the invoice date, after that they unfortunately cannot be dealt with.

- Passing data to the studbook is done after payment of the full stud fee.

Ordering and shipping semen

- Fresh semen should preferably be ordered one day in advance or at the latest between 08.00 and 09.00 on the day of insemination, so that delivery can be made on time. We would like to receive the mare's pedigree information on the first insemination.

- The actual shipping and (possibly) NVWA costs incurred (sperm from/to foreign countries) will be charged to the mare owner. Stud fees are excl. shipping costs and excl. VAT.

- For foreign breeders, the following applies: sperm order one day in advance with submission of complete breeder and mare data and payment in advance via credit card, bank transfer or Ideal.

- Transport of semen to and from abroad is at the risk of the mare owner.

Embrotransplantation / ICSI

- Per successfully transplanted embryo/ICSI, the stud fee will be charged if the surrogate mother is pregnant. This also applies to frozen embryos and if multiple embryos from one insemination are flushed.

- If, after embryo flushing or transplantation/ICSI, pregnancy is not established before 1 October 2020, a gust statement from your vet or ET centre must be submitted, after which the stud fee can be reduced to the current gust rate. When ordering semen, we would like to hear in advance that this is an embryo transfer/ICSI.

- When using frozen semen, the full stud fee at gestation or the gust rate will be charged per ET/ICSI attempt.

Mating conditions for frozen semen

- When using frozen semen, different gust rates, conditions and number of inseminations per season apply for each stallion. We will be happy to inform you about this.

- The max. number of inseminations with frozen semen (= number of doses per mating) only applies for breeding season 2020 for one and the same mare. If your mare becomes pregnant within the max. number of inseminations (which we will do our utmost to achieve), the use of the remaining doses will be forfeited to Dekstation V-team Stallions.

- V-team Stallions accepts no liability for damage, illness and/or injury to people, animals, means of transport or otherwise. The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) applies to these terms and conditions.
